Lisa Smith-Craig better known, as LSC to her industry counterparts is a freelance fashion stylist whose work can be seen in fashion, lifestyle and sports magazines, lookbooks and album packaging.
LSC's love of fashion was identified early in life, when at the age of 8; Lisa chose to style herself and her favorite doll Taylor for show and tell. This trivial, yet revealing moment became a pivotal point in Lisa’s life as she’d then decided that somehow, fashion would take center stage in her life.
With a strong desire to break into the fashion world, LSC finally got her opportunity as a sales assistant and later a visual merchandiser for Fred Hayman on Rodeo Drive. There, her love and appreciation for fashion and styling were nurtured as she assisted with celebrity wardrobe selections for the Academy Awards as well as some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. While still on a journey to develop her craft, LSC left Rodeo Drive for a shot at the recording industry. There she began working on (developing, setting up, styling, coordinating, managing) music videos and artists appearances. LSC’s perseverance and hard work later led her to her current position as Production Director at EMI, one of the leading record labels in the country.
While managing a successful career in the music industry, LSC has equally fine-tuned her love of fashion which is evident by her successful track record and strong client list which includes record labels, publications, television and sports franchises.
Most days LSC can be found in the chic midtown office she and partner Cappie Pondexter of the NY Liberty share, while running their image development firm 4Season Style Management. When asked about her personal motivation behind 4Season, LSC states “I wanted to bring all of my experiences together to create a story for others. I realized my experiences in retail, visual merchandising, styling and music, have all been put to use in helping me develop cutting edge imagery for successful media”.
